
AP Philippines participated the College of Education job fair from March 14 to 18. Organized by the Diliman Campus of University of the Philippines (UP), the event was aimed at opening students and alumni more employment opportunities and it successfully attracted some other top learning institutions to join.
Teri Mok, Case Supervisor of AP Hong Kong, conducted a career orientation for students major in Special Education during the fair. She introduced ABA and the intensive training for new recruits, then career path of behavioral therapist and the continuous learning opportunities for those who dedicate career life for the care of children with autism.
Many attending students were excited about the ABA program and interested to know more about the nature of a behavioral therapist’s career. Teri helped them realize that what they can do much more for these children who will grow and respond beyond their expectations when given appropriate assessment and intervention. Most students were motivated and inspired to pursue their wishes in changing lives of children with ASD.
