Autism Partnership Hong Kong participated in the Learning and Teaching Expo 2014, which was presented by Hong Kong Education City and supported by Education Bureau. At the Expo, we shared our experience in treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), displayed our latest educational iPad apps for children with ASD and showcased Aoi Pui School.
Toby Mountjoy, Associate Director of Autism Partnership Hong Kong, said, “It is the first time for Autism Partnership Hong Kong participating in this large-scale industry exhibition in Hong Kong. By participating in this event, we hope to foster our relationship with teachers and professionals in the industry, so that we can support them better when they come across children with ASD.”
Besides of exchanging views with the educators and industry professionals from various institutions, Dr. David Fischer, Licensed Psychologist (USA), Behavioral Consultant of Autism Partnership Hong Kong, was invited to deliver a presentation on “What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)” at the Expo and he pointed out that ABA is a widely adopted and recognized method in the States for treating individuals with autism.
