In Hong Kong, parents who are unable to afford private services are often required to wait for long periods of time before receiving government or subsidized services.

Starting from 2016, Autism Partnership Foundation (APF) will provide 1on1 and group treatment services for 5 years old or younger children with ASD of low-income families.

Aspire Program

Aspire program targets teenagers and young adults with autism aged 15 to 25. Like other service units at APF, Aspire also adopts ABA as its teaching methodology, aiming to let every teenager and young adult with autism to develop a holistic range of skills that will be needed as they enter the world of work and adulthood. The full day program operates in a self-financed model which incorporates elements like leisure, hobbies and community engagement.

Aoi Pui School (APS), formerly Autism Partnership School, is a private primary school and is registered under the Education Department. It was founded by Autism Partnership Foundation in 2007 and was the first school designed specifically for the needs of moderate to high functioning children with autism in Hong Kong.

The school benefits students who may not be quite ready for a full mainstream placement by providing more individual planning to meet their education, emotional and communication needs.
