Children at the age of 2-3 years old can begin combining words into simple sentences and can imitate 2-3 word phrases( mommy plays, more cookies, throw ball, I play car). However, Kimi, now at 2 years and 7 month olds, cannot use language to express and can only make a sound “arg” to request his needs. And this has become a huge concern to parent of Kimi.
In the following months, we will focus on training Kimi’s language skills. In this video, we will flashback his first few days in AP, and discuss the training programs we have arranged during these 3 weeks. Let’s take a look!

[:zh]大家好！今天我們會跟大家探討Kimi的早期語言發展。語言是學習和認識四周事物的媒介，兒童語言發展的黃金期是由初生至六歲。在這階段裡，兒童以觀察身邊的事物和環境，透過與成人及小朋友的交流去發展自己的語言能力。
2歲至3歲的兒童可以運用不同的雙詞組合句(如：媽媽玩，拋波波，去公園)及三詞組合句(如：媽媽玩車，拋波波，我去公園)。但現時兩歲七個月的Kimi不會用語言表達，他只會發出單一個音『吖』來表達他的需求。 Kimi 的爸爸媽媽亦非常擔心Kimi的語言發展，並希望儘早解決此問題。
在未來這數月，我們會重點訓練Kimi的語言能力。在是次頻道，我們會跟大家重溫一下他剛來AP的時候的表現，然後跟大家分享他於最近幾星期在中心裡訓練講話和溝通的進度。大家一起看看！
